Over the course of my career, I’ve led transformation initiatives across Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Retail, and complex global supply chain organizations.

And after more than 30 years of working across enterprise operations, organizational transformation, and leadership teams, I’ve come to one conclusion:

Most organizations are not struggling because people are incapable.

They are struggling because everything is pulling in different directions.

Strategy says one thing.
Operations reward another.
Technology evolves faster than behaviors.
Teams work hard but compete instead of align.
Leaders make decisions without seeing the full system impact.

I’ve watched organizations spend millions on transformation initiatives while unintentionally reinforcing the very behaviors creating the dysfunction.

Over time, I realized something even deeper.

Organizations do not perform as isolated functions.

They perform as interconnected systems.

This is not just about supply chains, transformation, or technology.

It’s about understanding how:

either reinforce one another…or quietly work against each other.

Because sustainable organizational performance rarely comes from optimizing one function in isolation.

It emerges from alignment.

Alignment between:

Throughout my career, I have consistently observed that the greatest operational challenges are rarely caused by a single broken process or system.

They emerge from the interaction between disconnected priorities, fragmented decision-making, unclear governance, misaligned incentives, and organizational behaviors that unintentionally pull in competing directions.

And the same patterns that exist inside organizations often exist inside people.

Misalignment creates friction.

In businesses.
In leadership teams.
And within ourselves.

That realization became the foundation for The Alignment Principle.

Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing perspectives drawn from my experiences leading:

But I’ll also be sharing lessons that are more personal:

My hope is that this platform becomes more than a collection of articles.

I hope it becomes a thoughtful conversation about how organizations, leaders, systems, and people can better align to create meaningful and lasting impact.

I’m looking forward to the conversations ahead.

What do you believe creates the greatest misalignment inside organizations today?

Because organizations are not isolated functions. They are interconnected systems.
